Community Shavathons

CANSA’s Shavathon events have become so popular, that we have changed our focus from an annual national Shavathon at participating malls across the country, to participation through communities and corporates / workplaces all year round.

Community Groups

Community groups that may wish to host a Shavathon event include:

• schools (playschools, preschools, primary schools, high schools)
• tertiary institutions (colleges, universities, etc.)
• organisations (churches, clubs, etc.)
• individuals (friends, family, etc.)

Events 50+ People:

• Contact your local CANSA Care Centre and speak to the Sustainability staff partner.
• The staff partner and volunteers will attend your event and supply shavers, capes, bibs, stencils, sprays and a poster to advertise your event.
• After the event, leftover sprays and other Shavathon stock will be returned to the CANSA Care Centre.

Events Less than 50 People:

Option 1

• Host your Shavathon event on your own.
• The Sustainability staff partner at your local CANSA Care Centre can prepare a Shavathon Kit with the products you need for your event.
• After the event you can return the kit the CANSA Care Centre.

Option 2

• Host your Shavathon event on your own.
• Order Shavathon products online through the CANSA eShop.
• Keep Shavathon products left over after the event.
