Mom & Daughter Donate Ponytails in Memory of Special Women Lost to Cancer
This beautiful mom & daughter team, missed the public Shavathon event and asked if they could still come to the CANSA Durban Care Centre and donate their ponytails! Avisha and Allysha did so in memory of the women in their life they had lost to cancer.

13 Year Old Donates 30 cm Hair to Support Cancer Survivors & Friend
Bridget Ball, a 13 year old high school learner, donated 30 cm of her hair for the CANSA Shavathon campaign. She has been growing her hair since she was born, so that she could donate her hair to help those affected by cancer.

Shavathon participant Ingrid, shares that her reason for shaving her head, is to honour her mom and mom-in-law who both died of cancer. Ingrid nursed both of them, took them to chemo and was their hospital buddy.
